I am looking for an inexpensive way to track my employee's labor hours per job.?
The previous company I worked for utilized the Kronos system. The current company I am now employed by does not want to spend $8,000.00 to $10,000.00, considering we only have 10 employees working in the manufacturing area. I am looking for a system that will allow my employees to walk up to a time clock and punch in a job number then slide an identification card. This way I could account for the daily hours they place on jobs and indirect time. Or maybe some type of inexpensive handheld device they could carry on themselves. At this time, they fill out a time sheet at the end of the day, which can be very inaccurate. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.
