Do you find this unusual for newlyweds to do?

My 22 year old cousin Ellie got married recently and lives in the same city as her mother Kate. Almost every other day Ellie and her husband Seth come over to Kate's house to eat food and lounge hours on end. They spend more time over my aunt Kate's house rather than @ there own home or going out and spending time with 1 another like young people usually do. They always eat up Kate's lunches and dinners and then stay until 10 @ night and often sleep over. Don't you think that Seth and Ellie depend way too much on Kate for relaxation and food? Normal newlyweds shouldn't go over their mother's homes and live their lives there like it's their new home too.
