How / if are THE FAMILIES involved in next week's Royal Wedding?

Kate Middleton's parents have contributed money to the wedding festivity fund, though that wasn't required of them. Her sister is her maid of honor and Harry is the best man. Queen Elizabeth is hosting many parties on the day. I don't know what Prince Charles or the Queen Mum are doing.
