How to correct inaccurate tension dials on tennis stringing machines?

I have a babolat star 3 double line machine and when I set the dial to 60 pounds and string it, it feels like it's pulling at 68 pounds and causes my strings to break during stringing. Any advice/tips/ideas from stringers out there would help. Thanks
