How do I make money at photography...as in marketing myself?

It takes years to sharpen your skills as a photographer (until you're good enough that people will pay money). And you'd have to know how to run a business, too. If you like the idea of taking photos for fun, by all means, do it. But when it comes to a job, customers can be extremely demanding, and when that happens, all the fun goes away.
