I want to have a baby...?

Ok so my husband is in the military. We have talked extensively about having children, but we want to wait until after his deployment since we are newlyweds. On top of all my other fears, I'm constantly worried he may not return. He is theove of my live and I want to have his children. I'm curious to your thoughts of asking him to donate sperm just I case he doesn't make it home?
